Elac Easter course 2017 |
Our Easter programme in Eastbourne College provides students with fantastic opportunities to practise and improve their English and learn about British culture in a truly authentic learning environment. There are also opportunities to integrate with English teenagers in some of the afternoon activities.
In the mornings, our students will have daily English classes in mixed-nationality groups – a total of 30 hours over the course. A level test is given to students on the first day to ensure that they are placed in the correct class. Like our summer courses, there is a focus on activating our student’s English and practising their communication skills. Click here for more. |

The New Year saw the foundation of Elac
Education Trust, a charitable organisation established by Elac
directors to carry out not-for-profit work in English language
training. The first initiative is to set up a programme of
summer camps overseas aimed at students who can’t afford to join
our UK programmes. |
“One of the first decisions we made,” says Andrew, “was to work hand in hand with our partners, as they have the local knowledge necessary to ensure the programme is a success and achieves its goals. In future, we will diversify the ways in which the Trust fulfils its mission, but these intensive programmes, which are our area of expertise, will remain the cornerstone of the Trust’s work.” |
