The Elac Study Centre is located in the heart of the
city of
Bath at 22 Milson Street, an easy walk from the bus station. The
centre occupies three floors of a Georgian town house on the principal
shopping street in the city. Facilities include a reception office, 4
well-equipped classrooms suitable for classes of 10 – 15 students, a study
room for leaders, and two internet stations. Bath: World Heritage CityBuilt along the banks of the River Avon and nestling amongst seven hills, The World Heritage City of Bath has been a popular destination since Roman times and is one of the most visited cities in Europe. With its long and colourful history, reflected in its unique and varied architecture, Bath offers many attractions, whatever your interests. Walking from the Roman Baths to the medieval Bath Abbey and then on to the Georgian Royal Crescent, visitors can admire Bath’s Georgian layout, with its parks, statues and squares, and its famous cream Bath stone. |

Modern Bath also has much to offer, boasting a great selection of restaurants, cafés, shops, pubs, theatres, and museums. The newly completed, pedestrianised Southgate shopping development has many small attractive boutiques alongside the better known high street shops. It is a lively but safe and friendly place, with leisure facilities including sports centres, cinemas and the Thermae Bath Spa, a unique opportunity to bathe in the hot springs as the Romans once did! |
